Povzetek predavanja: The incorporation of ferrocene moiety into bioactive organic frameworks still is one of the most appealing strategies to find useful compounds. These derivatives are associated with analgesic, antineoplastic, anticonvulsant, anti-HIV, antitumor, antimalarial, antimicrobial, and antioxidant activity. In the attempts to synthesize some of the new derivatives, we accidentally came across acryloylferrocene, which was used as an intermediate in a large number of experiments. This molecule, which among other things, was used as a Michael acceptor, proved to be a convenient dipolarophile in the synthesis of heterocycles containing this metallocene
